The Switch&Lock 360 push-to-connect coupling from Michel Tube is characterized by its ease of use, whereby the operator simply has to connect the male and female parts – without having to pay attention to the positioning of the female coupling. The coupling can be clearly heard and seen thanks to the locking bolt, which is equipped with a visual gauge/red marking. This makes it possible to immediately see whether the system is correctly locked, especially in hard-to-reach places or from a distance. It is virtually impossible for the system to come loose, even under vibration.

The guide rails on both bodies and the radii on the sockets make it extremely easy for the operator to thread the hose cleanly, despite torsion. First, the sockets slide over each other and then the delivery pipe is inserted into the socket. The system features two guide pipes, which ensure mechanical stability.

The coupling can be connected at any angle up to 360°. To release the coupling, the specially shaped spring bolt is lifted with one or two hands.

The coupling is available in three materials and price ranges, with the entry-level version consisting of a plastic housing, followed by an aluminum or stainless steel version for highly sensitive requirements. Since the pipe adapter is always made of stainless steel, the Switch&Lock 360 coupling is generally equipped with stainless steel parts only in all versions that come into contact with the product. If the all-stainless steel version is chosen, the system is made of almost 100% stainless steel.

By attaching so-called coding rings, even retrospectively, the coupling can be easily and inexpensively color/mechanically coded, with the mechanical patterns repeating every 120°. In theory, up to 55 different patterns are available, although the mechanical application is more aimed at reliably separating smaller systems or different pipe lines. For more diverse applications, we recommend RFID coding, which is also compatible with the Switch&Lock 360 coupling.

On request, the coupling or plug pin can be customized with an engraving—for example, with the machine number or internal codes.

Thanks to its basic design, the Switch&Lock 360 coupling is inexpensive and scalable across all diameters. A variety of materials allows each customer to choose the right coupling system to meet their quality requirements.
