PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Glass tube bends are the wear protection in the plastics industry. For decades, glass tubes and glass tube bends have been used extremely successfully with polyamide and glass fibre reinforced plastics to minimize wear and thus downtimes.
Glass tube bends from Michel Tube have a wall thickness of 5 mm and have a consistent hardness on this wall thickness. It is important to know that the inside diameter must be aligned, which is why all Michel Tube glass elbows are specially manufactured for this purpose. For the connection with the stainless steel tube, so-called glass tube connectors are used, which connect two different outer diameters (glass and stainless steel). A copper strip is attached to the outside to ensure electrical conductivity.
