PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Glass elbows provide wear protection in the plastics industry. For decades, glass tubes and glass elbows have been used extremely successfully with polyamide and fiberglass-reinforced plastics to minimize wear and, consequently, downtime.
Glass elbows from Michel Tube have a wall thickness of 5mm and exhibit consistent hardness throughout this wall thickness. It is important to know that the inner diameter must be aligned, which is why all glass elbows from Michel Tube are specially manufactured for this purpose. So-called glass tube connectors are used to connect to the stainless steel tube, connecting two different outer diameters (glass and stainless steel). A copper strip is attached to the outside for electrical conductivity.
