Glass molded parts (branches, T-pieces) are explicitly manufactured for the plastics processing industry. In this context, it is extremely important to guarantee dimensional accuracy and that the pipe fittings are sufficiently stress-relieved to avoid tension in the glass and, consequently, glass breakage.

The use of branches and/or closed T-pieces made of glass is particularly recommended in areas where highly abrasive materials are conveyed – e.g. glass fiber reinforced plastic.
