PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Pipe couplings are very often used for pressure conveying. In the plastics industry, they are therefore very often found on an external silo. Michel Tube pipe couplings are available in various materials, with the galvanized steel version being the most commonly used variant. In terms of length, a range of 150mm to 200mm is preferred as standard. Clamping is then carried out using three or four screws. Similar to the pipe connectors, a flat seal is used for sealing. It is important to know and note that the pipe couplings only have a sealing function for the pipe and cannot hold it in the axial direction in the event of pressure surges. We strongly recommend a strain relief for this purpose.
